Job Description

Job Purpose

Responsible for accounting and financial functions in Taicang (Plasterboard Taicang and for PFT Taicang), Prepares and analyzes financial statements and budgetary reports. Advises other departments Department Heads of financial conditions. Identifies problem areas and provides recommended solutions. Works with internal and external auditors, local banks and authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversees financial department employees and assess and improve their performance.
• Supervises and participate in the preparation of financial statements, reports, forecasts and budgets.
• Assists in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, etc.
• Directs the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers (accounts receivable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, material ledger etc.).
• Coordinates preparation of internal and external audit materials and external financial reporting.
• Establishes system controls for new financial systems, develops procedures to improve existing ones.
• Directs the installation and maintenance of new accounting, inventory, tax, and other related procedures and controls (or changes thereof).
• Partners with management and other departments in determining financial impact due to product cost reductions, new product roll out, etc. and prepares periodic forecasts to update management on projected results.
• Identifies, investigates, and analyzes potential operational improvement. As appropriate, based on findings makes proposal for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.).
• Adhere to statutory and Group internal financial regulations and legislation.
• Ensure a professional administration of the company’s assets throughout procurement, possession and dispatch or disposal including related documentation and compliance to procedures, policies, laws and regulations.
• Tax planning and income tax returns as well as applying for applicable tax grants.
• Identifies and mitigates tax risks.
• Manages tax provision and tax compliance process.
• Manages and coordinate tax audits.
• Prepares all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests
• Manages (tax) subsides and other benefits granted by government and authorities.
• Works with sales and procurement team to ensure tax compliance for any third party agreement.
• Oversees risks and arranges insurance coverages.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements

Minimum Job Qualifications

Education background and major

• Bachelor degree or above, major in accounting, finance and other related subjects.
• Mid-level Finance Title would be a plus.

Work Experience

• At least 10  years of experience in Finance in manufacturing environment and  at least 5 years in supervisory level , Experience in a foreign companies is a plus

 

Computer skill

• ERP-systems (preferably SAP), MS Office, Reporting-Tools

Language skill

• Fluent in Chinese and English (written and verbal)

Other

• Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
