Knauf Fireshield Plasterboard

Knauf fireshield plasterboard adopts pink face as covering paper; the plaster board core contains fire-resistant additive and alkali-free fire-resistant fibre, so especially applicable to ceiling, partition, lift, staircase access as well as outer pack of column and beam requiring high fire-resistant performance.
 

Applicable scope:
Widely used for ceiling system, partition system and veneer system in civil, commercial and industrial buildings with high fire-resistant requirement.
 

Features:
- Taking natural plaster with the purity higher than 85% as the raw material and advanced technology and equipment for production, the plasterboard bears leveling face, accurate size and assured quality.
- The imported high-level original wood pulp covering paper has smooth face and high strength.
- The board core is added with much alkali-free fire-resistant glass fibre, about 5-6time that of common plasterboard. The alkali-free fire-resistant glass fibre has a softening temperature of over 1000°C, effectively improving the stability of plasterboard in case of fire.
- The density of board core is 20% higher than that of common plasterboard; in addition, it is added with certain amount of fire retardant, thus improving its strength in high temperature.
- Test shows that the partition system composed of Knauf plasterboard and light-weight steel stud has a fire-resistant limit of up to 4 hours.
