Knauf Denseshield

Knauf denseshield is a kind of lightweight board with high impact resistance specially developed and produced for places with high-density pedestrian flow. Wherein, the plaster core contains more fibre than that of common plasterboard and meanwhile controls the incorporation amount of vesicant and is added with special additive, making it bear higher density than common plasterboard. In addition, its covering paper also adopts high-density imported paper undergoing thickening treatment, thus satisfying the impact resistance of plasterboard from both core and covering paper.

Applicable scope:
- Especially applicable to enclosure among lifts and staircases as well as places with high-density pedestrian flow in corridor, passage, etc.
- Applicable to separating wall among households.
- Solid filler wall system constituted together with lightweight filling material.
 

Features:
- The high-density board core ensures that the plasterboard will not deform and break when bearing strong impact.
- Both covering paper and backing paper undergo thickening and compacting treatment, thus providing effective board core and guaranteeing high strength of plasterboard.
- The solid filler wall constituted together with lightweight filling material (foaming polystyrene cement mortar filling material) has higher fire protection, the double-face single-layer denseshield has a fire-resistant limit of up to 4 hours (total thickness of partition is 125mm).
- Excellent sound insulation ability, the double-face single-layer 12.5mm denseshield partition has a sound insulation value (Rw) of up to 47dB.
