Knauf professional project plasterboard is a kind of lightweight wall material applied in project. It is manufactured based on original common plasterboard, moistureshield board and fireshield board, while treated by adjusting production technology, changing compounding and adopting special hard-edge technology.
 

Applicable scope:
Widely used for partition and ceiling of various projects, such as hall, meeting room, scriptorium, theatre, dining hall, classroom, shopping hall, machinery room, airport, gymnasium, library, natatorium, reception room, bedroom, metro platform, corridor, etc.
 

Features:
- Improvement of nail-holding force.
Nail-holding force is the standard for measuring the firmness of connection between plasterboard and stud. ELS technology increases the strength of plasterboard edge, accordingly, the nail-holding force is increased as well, therefore reducing the risk of downwarping and deformation of plasterboard due to loosening nail.
- Improvement of edge bond strength of plasterboard.
- As the density of board edge increases, the bonding point between plaster and paper fibre also increases, which improves the wet bonding condition of board and avoids quality problems like paper falling.
- Unique color separation technology like making color staining in some slurry can prevent counterfeit.
Heavy sizing part adopts color slurry (blue for common board, pink for fireshield board, green for moistureshield board) and light sizing part adopts white slurry for convenience of distinguishing and preventing counterfeit.
